Ways to Release Uncomfortable Feelings
The first thing to remember is to breathe deeply. This will help calm your nervous system and send oxygen to the brain to release the amygdala (part of the brain that creates the stress response). There are many things you can do to release uncomfortable feelings. Find what suits your child.
